In this class, students will create projects using hand-building techniques such as coil, pinch, and slab construction. Projects will range from animal figures to functional wares, allowing for creativity and exploration. No previous clay experience is necessary.
This class is open to students aged 8 and older. Adults may enroll if they are related to a child in the class. The class is limited to eight students, and clay is included.

In this class, you will create functional and sculptural art for your home and garden. Using a variety of techniques—such as the slab roller, extruders, balloons, and molds—you’ll have the opportunity to craft items like bird baths, totems, plant stakes, fountains, garden stones, flower vases, and pots. One or two classes will also include a hypertufa project.
Participants must be 18 years or older. One 25 lb. bag of clay is included.
